Thank you for your interest in SEOULSTATION! Characters here will be based in Seoul, South Korea and its surrounding areas. Any kind of character is welcome, from slice of life to faux celeb. We are focused on rekindling a feeling of community on Dreamwidth. In order to spark interactions and creativity, each month there will be FFA posts, challenges, contests and more for your characters to participate in. If that sounds like a good time, we'd love to have you!

WHY NOT AU?
Alternate universe muses are fine, but we do not accept them here. We find that PB character allow the mun for greater freedom than AU characters. You are welcome to keep aspects of the played-by if you like, but it is by no means necessary and we encourage creativity.

Before setting up your journal and filling out our APPLICATION, please read the following guidelines:

HOLDING
We understand that character creation takes time. Please be courteous and apply within five (5) days of holding.

USERNAMES
Your username should contain no underscores, numbers or additional letters.

IP LOGGING
We find this to be an invasion of privacy. If we find you loggin IP addresses on your journal, we will ask that you remove it by a certain date. Failure to do so will result in removal from the community.

AGE RULE AND PLAYED BY RESTRICTIONS
Characters must be above the age of 18. In regards to aging your character up or down, you must limit that to within five years of your played by's age.

BIOS
We understand that character development can take quite some time. As such, we do not require you apply with full-fledged biographies, but do require basic information such as full name, occupation, hometown, and general facts about your character.

Once you have been accepted, you must post an intro to ~MYEONGDONG within 72 hours. We expect you to reply to at least half of the comments on your intro in order for it to count. Failure to do so will result in the removal of your character. From that point on, use the following guidelines for activity.

GENERAL
Extraneous apps such as Twitter or Discord are allowed and encouraged, but you must post to the friends page in order for your activity to count. You are required to post twice each month, and we require two types of activity: interactive and substantive. Both of your activity posts can be interactive if you'd like! The interactive post can be anything you'd like. The substantive post should be: a narrative, a thread (complete or in progress), moodboards, playlists, ffas or anything that gives us insight into your character. Please use trigger warnings as necessary, and if you are unsure, use our members post.

SUBMITTING ACTIVITY
The month you are added you may use your intro as one part of your activity. Regardless of when you were added, you must submit your activity to the trackerin the mod journal by the last day of the month.

CHARACTER LIMIT
You can bring in up to three characters. Please use your discretion for how many characters you can handle and keep active at one time. We appreciate transparency when you apply; let us know if you already have a character in our community.

LINES COMMUNITY
Our lines community, KTX is open for posting to anyone, even those who are not members of our community yet, to post about storylines they are seeking, PBs they would like to see, etc. You are encouraged to browse or even post before applying!

HIATUS
We understand that life gets in the way, perhaps now more than ever. If you need to take a break, please notify us in the member's post. By default, hiatuses last for two weeks, but extensions can be granted as necessary. Please do not ask for extensions more than twice in a row without extenuating circumstances.

THE GOLDEN RULE
Please treat each other with kindness and respect. SEOULSTATION is founded on the idea of bringing back the community vibe that has long been absent on Dreamwidth. It should go without saying to not cross ic/ooc lines, godmod or metagame.
